Ok so I've started a running blog so that I can keep a record of my training, write down my thoughts and general comments re my training, nutrition, injury, strength etc.
There won't be much running for a while as I visited the sports dr today and I've had an xray on my hip and then I'm also in for an MRI in a couple of weeks time. I am not to run until I get the ok from the dr but I can ride my bike and do anything basically that doesn't hurt the hip.
My main focus for this year was to run the Great Ocean Road Marathon on 16th May, which I FINISHED!!! YAY!!! I'm so happy. I was then hoping (and still am) to do the Melbourne Marathon in October, but my number 1 priority is to get back into some sort of consistent training and to get my nutrition on track again after a few weeks/months all over the place.
Anyway for now I'm going to take it easy and get over this injury then I'll be back into the running sooner I hope.
